We’re reminded of a thoughtful and personal piece written by Jasmine Obeysekere about her own close friendships with a dear Muslim family in Sri Lanka. Her story challenges our inclination towards cultural homogeneity and invites us to participate in creating mutually enriching pluralistic communities.
