Women are extraordinary!
What does it look like to combine a calling to write and teach with a lifestyle of nurturing the land? English professor and author Tiffany Eberle Kriner joins us on the podcast to talk about her experiences of both teaching and caring for the earth. Tiffany’s recent book, written mostly during the pandemic, offers insights on race, hope, faith, and the beauty of life, blending literature and faithful reflection on a story that we have all lived through.
“I think the key is to invite people into a space with you — to be the one who is always inviting people is the way to be in academia….Invitation is a great virtue to cultivate in a younger person.”
Our shared experience of joy and struggle must be acknowledged and honored — so join us in celebrating International Women’s Day today, March 8. We hope that you might mark this day by remembering the contributions of faithful women in history, or cultivating some new friendships, or investing in your spiritual wellness. May the Lord bless you with joy and purpose!
“From 8th century Germany to 19th century Pennsylvania, these women lived with a boldness and dedication to Christ that made a mark on the world around them. What good things might God have for us to do in this time, in these days?”
